Precautions : Hypersensitivity. caution in renal impairment, gastric carcinoma, pregnancy and lactation.
Indications/Uses: Peptic ulcers 40mg daily for upto 8 weeks. zollinger-ellison syndrome 20mg qid.
peptic oesophagitis upto 40mg bd.
Interactions : Decreased serum levels of ketoconazole and itraconazole.
Side Effects : Headache, anxiety. dizziness. dry mouth. constipation or diarrhoea. nausea. rash. anorexia. fatigue. cholestatic jaundice.
