Precautions : Hypersensitivity to quinolones. pregnancy and lactation. care in renal and hepatic impairment.

Indications/Uses: Respiratory and urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, gi infections and systemic infections; 400mg bd.

Interactions : Antacids retard absorption. theophylline, cyclosporin plasma levels increased.

Side Effects : Gastro-intestinal upset. dizziness. headache. tremor. confusion. sleep disorders. rash. photosensitivity. myalgia .thrombocytopenia.
