Precautions : Addisons disease, hypokalaemia, hyponatraemia severe renal and hepatic impairment.

Indications/Uses: Oedema 5-10mg daily. hypertension 2.5-5mg daily.

Interactions : May reduce effect of oral hypoglycaemics. prolonged action of neuromuscular blocking agents.

Side Effects : Gastro-intestinal upset. postural hypotension. reversible impotence. hypokalaemia. hyperuricaemia. rash.
