Precautions : First trimester of pregnancy. caution in hepatomegaly.

Indications/Uses: Nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor used with other agents in hiv infection; 150mg bd, with or without food.

Side Effects : Nausea. vomiting. abdominal pain. diarhoea. insomnia. cough. weakness. fever. rash. alopecia. peripheral neuropathy.
