Precautions : Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.

Indications/Uses: Urinary tract, respiratory and skin infections by susceptible organisms; 1-2g by injection in mild to moderate infections, severe infections upto 4g.

Interactions : Probenecid decreases excretion.

Side Effects : Diarrhoea. nausea. vomiting. headache. allergic reactions. rarely pseudomembranous colitis.
