Indications/Uses: Nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor used with other agents in hiv infection; 250-400mg daily, on empty stomach.

Interactions : Increased effect: ganciclovir. allopurinol.

Side Effects : Nausea. vomiting. diarrhoea. pancreatitis. peripheral neuropathy. hyperuracaemia.
