Indications/Uses: Brochodilation in asthma, emphysema and chronic bronchitis. management of premature labour; oral 2-4 mg 3 or 4 times daily, with or without food; also by sc, im, inhalation routes.

Interactions : Increased effect: sympathomimetics, mao inhibitors, tricyclic antidepressants. decreased effect: beta-blockers.

Side Effects : Fine tremor. nervous tension. tachycardia. palpitations. sleep disturbances. nausea. sweating.
