Precautions : Renal impairment. abnormalities of the oesophagus which delay emptying. hypocalcaemia. pregnancy or lactation.

Indications/Uses: Prevents bone removal by osteocalts. used in treatment of osteoporosis; 10mg od or 70mg weekly (1st thing in the morning, 30mins before food).

Interactions :

Side Effects : Gastro-intestinal disturbances. musculoskeletal pain. headaches. taste disturbances.
